陳寶文,香港浸會大學中文系( 主修中文,副修藝術系),香港教育大學畢業。
Chan Po Man graduated from Hong Kong Baptist University and Hong Kong Education University. After moving to Toronto , she has received the certificate OATGS from The Art Gallery of Ontario ( AGO ) and Teaching English as a Second Language at TCSB.
Po Man learned Chinese printing from the well known peacock artist , Mr Ng Yee Sang and the landscape artist Mr Dickson Wu. Po Man’s pictures are for private collection and has donated sale to Toronto Community such as Yee Hong , Mon Sheong ,Red Cross , Heart and Stroke Foundation. In the present , Po Man is teaching art at private school and is a freelance artist.
李明, Ming Lee, 來自台灣的中國人, 祖籍河北, 安省中國美術會會員, 加國美術家協會會員, 政大中文研究所碩士。 自幼酷愛美術, 受業於多位名師, 學習國畫山水及花鳥, 迄今四十餘年。2001年移民來加後, 又努力學習油畫, 於2006及2008年分別於多倫多舉辦”彩繪人生”
Ming Lee, also known as Mindy Wei, is Chinese, from Taiwan. She holds a Master’s degree in Chinese Literature from the National Cheng-Chi University. She has been studying Chinese -style painting in her leisure over the last 40 years.Since moving to Toronto in 2001, she has been diligently learning oil painting . Her paintings were showcased in “Painting Colorful Life – Mindy Wei’s Art Exhibition” in 2006 and 2008 in Toronto.
苗梅雅於五十年前,在多倫多接受國畫家馬笑如的啓蒙。 後來在香港跟Henry Wo Yue-Kee大師學習中國畫。幾十年來,苗梅雅以自然為靈感,
Fifty years ago, Moira was introduced to Chinese Brush Painting by Toronto artist Ma Shui Yu. She later studied in Hong Kong with Master Henry Wo Yue-Kee. Over the years she has developed her own style and technique, using nature as her inspiration and Canadian subject matter.
Moira is the author of The Chi of the Dragon – a book that explains the symbolism and philosophy of oriental art.
