由加拿大安省中國美術會邀請，「陳楚鴻長江及漓江水彩寫生畫展」將於2019年10月12日(星期六)到17月日(星期四)，在安省中國美術會展覧廳舉行。時間為每天中午12時到下午5時，地點: 3838 Midland Ave. Unit 102, Scarb. On, Canada M1V 5K5 (即士嘉堡Steeles Ave.E以南) 。聯絡: 416-586-9837; ocaa@ocaa.info 。
又開幕儀式於10月12日(星期六)下午2時開始，歡迎市民參觀。
陳楚鴻, 加拿大安省中國美術會永久會員。參加香港庚子畫會、看港美術研究會及番港畫家聯會等。
陳楚鴻退休前從事專業美術及印刷設計。曾任香港嶺海藝術專科學校老師。自1960年起，以速寫、水彩、版畫等參加地方及國際聯展，並且獲多個獎項。1994年 移居多倫多，再3次被邀作個人水彩畫展。陳楚鴻擅作水彩及鋼筆素描，喜以街景及人物為題，筆法流暢，描寫細膩。是次展出的一批水彩作品，是陳楚鴻於70及80年代，遊歷長江及漓江時的即場水彩寫生作品。
Peter Choo-Hong CHAN Mr. Chan is in his 70s now. He currently resides in Toronto. He entered the artistic industry when he was very young in Hong Kong. He used to teach courses in art school in Hong Kong.. Mr. Chan has had many solo exhibits and won awards in local and international art shows. He is good at travel sketching with watercolor technique. Peter’s paintings are in private and corporate collections in Hong Kong and Canada. Choo-Hong Chan is a member of Ontario Chinese Artists Association.
It is a pleasure for OCAA to invite Mr. Chan to exhibit his beautiful live watercolor paintings in river. The artworks were painted during the 70s and 80s while Mr. Chan was traveling in China.
